WAY TOO MUCH piped in music last night. The band was barely audible, especially at times when they would have been used to make the crowd go insane in the past.

This?

The band doesn't make anyone excited anymore. They lost their edge when they removed neck.

When did they start piping in music for every defensive down?? I've been going to games since forever and of course am not oblivious to the piped in music but when did they start for the defensive downs??

I will say it seemed to get the players jacked.

I might have to give you that one. They used to pump the crowd up, but it seems they have been neutered by the PC police and fan stupidity.

Started last year it seems. I loved it. Especially when they played Brock Lesnar's theme music followed by Stone Cold's

You'll have to be more specific then. "Go time" is very generic.

They pipe in music between every opponents play in Tiger Stadium now. It's a bit much. And a lot of the time it keeps the crowd from getting really loud because the students are too busy paying attention to the music.

Loved when they played Brock Lesnar's theme and followed it up with Austin's. Awesome!

They don't let the band play any of the songs that would make the crowd go crazy anymore

It fricking sucks. That's part of what used to make Tiger Stadium so special. The crowd would be loud, and the band belt out a tune over the crowd noise, making the crowd go further into ape-shittedness.

It wasn't that long ago

Now we get fricking Lil Jon like we're USCe. I like Lil Jon, but come the frick on. Sorry, but no piped in music will ever touch that.

You are easily the coolest 47 year old on the Rant.

Have an upvote.

Wouldn't be surprised if you had a hot 21-year-old girlfriend.

If you saw me, you'd be surprised if I had an ugly 50 year old girlfriend

But thanks for your vote of confidence.

The lack of songs like Neck was very disturbing. I don't think that "Boogie Down" and 25 year old Bon Jovi songs have the same hype factor.

I know they're all concerned that drunk college students will act like drunk college students, but its the last game of the year. A game that everyone though would be Miles' last. I don't care if the student section brought a live tiger onto the field and actually sucked its dick, Neck should've been played.
