Cam Cameron deserves an unreal amount of credit for a lot of things, but 3rd down conversion this season has been an absolute spectacle.

Does everyone realize that we lead the nation in 3rd down conversion? Not just the SEC, but the NATION. And we were 11/17 against A&M yesterday! Our conversion percentage will now be about 58.5%.

Hats off to Coach Cam for making our offense a force to be reckoned with. And give credit where credit is due, CLM made the right hire and pounced on the opportunity to go after him!

As a team who struggled this year on the Defensive side of the ball (namely, @UGA & @Ole Miss)in this category, this is one of the most important stats of the year.

I'm very proud of that stat, which is probably due to Mett hooking up with the dynamic duo.

But it also causes me to wonder what we could have done if we had called those type of plays on first or second down.

I know, right! When they rolled that stat I hugged my wife and sang some Lee Greenwood. I cant wait to see what he does with Jennings!

I don't see how the offense doesn't take a big step back next year. A senior QB and the best tandem of receivers in LSU history. I think people are kidding themselves when they think the offense will be similar. Those 3 guys will be missed badly.

They'll have to go back to plain ole ground and pound and pray the defense gets good enough to he it's own.

With CC as OC next year, I'll be more optimistic than your expectation.

There are a select few saying that and they need treatment. We will be better than any year since 2007 except for 2013.

Maybe so, but all three of those guys improved under Cameron. The next guys will improve also.

I am actually very optimistic about Travin Dural. He has shown flashes of being really solid, and I think he will become one of our next WR studs.
