#24 Qualls left Hornsby wide open

He made a late move off of Hornsby to position himself between Gray and Hornsby, covering no one. Gray had no shot or pass without this blunder.

That's the point, he was scared Gray was going to slash like he had done all game.

I agree- that's why he moved over. But, by the time he moved, Gray had no time to slash. Time would have run out.

Exactly right. They also watched the WVU tape to be sure.
