So Dellenger tweets last night that we are preparing for facility upgrades north of $20M. Considering the state of the program and the completely inept leadership, can’t we all demand as alumni, TAF contributors, etc. that this money be used to payoff Miles’ buyout, as well as Alleva’s and Orgeron’s buyouts, in lieu of renovations? What am I missing here???

Because construction requires planning, engineering, etc. The planning is not the expensive part, the construction is. There's no reason why they can't plan now, and if things go south further this season they can cancel as needed.

One is a thing the other is totally paying for nothing. Very different.

You obviously never been a project manager. They haven't been green lit if I am reading it correctly.

I mean I think we need to keep our facilities as top of the line as possible. The longer you wait on stuff like that the harder/more expensive it becomes

Those guys will probably be gone before it's even finished. Let them be the ones whose offices are in a trailer

The work has to be budgeted over the next few years for engineering, procurement and construction. All I’m saying is refrain from allocating these dollars to renovations, and ear mark them for buyouts.

local sports radio (forgot which one, probably all of them) kind of said it best in my opinion - the amount of coach o's buyout is close to irrelevant - because they simply are not going to fire a coach after one season.

if they go 3-9 and behind the scenes can get an agreement with a premier coach i would hope they would make a change... but the people in the know seem to all say LSU simply isnt going to get rid of a coach after 1 year (regardless of buyout amount)

Shoot, forget that. Pay out these coaches and get a real HC!

About 19M will be needed to bring the south endzone restrooms up from Turkish prison standards.

What facilities? If they aren't football related, screw it and get rid of all the diseases in the football program.
