I am trying to book a wedding for next Fall and don't want it to conflict with the LSU vs. Alabama game or Ole piss for that matter. Does anyone have some insight as to which weekend the game will be played? My first guess is 11/3/18, but I know in 2013 we played them on 11/9/13. (THE PAST 2 YEARS I've had to attend a wedding on the Bama/LSU game!) I was that guy watching on the phone with 20 people behind me. It was pretty rude, but who schedules a wedding on that day???
Thanks for any help.

I'd go with the "No weddings in the fall" rule

If someone doesn't go to your wedding because of a football game they aren't very good friends/family.

Yeah I think if someone missed my wedding because of a college football game, they're pretty much no longer considered a friend.

given the inherent ugliness and meaninglessness of life, sports are perhaps the one refuge where it doesn't matter what your background is, where you went to high school, or your race, gender, or sexual orientation. The community comes together to celebrate the local culture and cheer the tigers to victory.

No, sports aren't life, but it's the one area where the divisions we put up between ourselves go away, even if for a fleeting moment in time.

Edit
I'm dumb. Didn't notice 2018.

Most likely the game will be 11/3. Which means also most likely, the bye week will be 10/27 (aka the day of your wedding).

LSU football only takes place 12 weeks out of the 52 in a year. Schedule your damn wedding on one of the other weeks. If you absolutely have to do it in the fall, either A) schedule that shite on a Friday, or B) have the game playing at your reception if you're that ignorant to not check the schedule.
