2016 Linebacker Attrition

Since we will be losing all three linebackers after this year (assuming Beckwith goes pro), here is a list of players I would like to see converted to linebacker to plug the gap (so we don't have to rely on three true freshmen or subpar lettermen):
-Sione Teuhema
-David Ducre
-Tony Upchurch
-Bry'kiethon Mouton

So you would rather rely on a WR turned FB, a RB, and a fullback instead of relying on guys that are actual Lbers? Teuhema is the only defensive player you listed and I'm pretty sure he's working at some OLBer.
So along with Teuhema, we still have Feist, Voorhies, Duke Riley, Donnie Alexander, and Patterson along with the 2016 recruits, and we are looking very good for some big time LBer prospects.
We're gonna have major attrition at LBer for 2016, can't stop that, but I would rather have guys that are actual LBers instead of guys that are offensive players.

I don't think this is as bad a thread as most apparently. During his recruitment I mentioned BryKeithan Mouton as someone that should get a look at linebacker.

We're going to rely on freshmen at LB in 2016.
That may be an option for him with Ducre and Upchurch getting snaps at FB as well.

How about we enjoy the 15 ride and worry about 16 next year about this time.

I would keep Tre White in that discussion. He has a lot of agility and moves well side to side. He could be a good outside linebacker.

If Ducre moves to another position, it would probably be defensive end.

Nearly all those guys you listed are under 215 lbs. All the guys I listed are bigger than 215 lbs. Our best lbs in recent years have been 235 plus. Shepherd, Minter, Beckwith, etc...

You should get together with the guy who wanted to have Fournette play some linebacker.

Marcus Spears was a tight end converted to defensive end. Beckwith was a high school QB. I'd say they handled the transition well. Think before you post.

You should get with someone that can reason for you since you miss the obvious.

This thread is sad and you should feel bad.

Irrelevant. He still played and was recruited as a LB. He just came from a state that just puts the best athlete at QB.
You're stretching here.

I don't. How do you feel?

He definitely was the best athlete on his HS team, and played LB. Sadly though, Chavis didn't want to offer him so we recruited him as a DE/ATH because Chavis sucks at evaluations.
