2016 Jackson vs 2015 Fournette as only Heisman choices Fournette likely wins

If Fournette had the same stats and type of season this year as last he probably wins the Heisman over Jackson. LSU probably does not have 4 losses, maybe only one close defeat against BAMA and possibly in the playoffs. Even with 2 or 3 losses still no worse than Louisville in a lesser conference. Deshaun Watson was inconsistent at tiimes and likely would not have beaten out Fournette. Bad timing.

Les Miles and Cameron are to blame for dashing his heisman hopes.. we ran some JV shite on offense that year

Fournette had over 100 yards against Wisconsin and Auburn. He was not the reason they lost 4 games. A healthy Fournette, maybe the Florida games ends differently but still would've had 3 losses. I do agree that his 2015 stats would've won the Heisman this year.

He was not healthy and running at about 75 to 80%. Remember he said he was only able to go 4 to 5 plays before coming out. The 2015 version would have likely scored on some of the runs he was stopped on this year.
More significant he sustained injuries right at the end in both Wisconsin and Auburn games. He reinjured the ankle right before Harris threw the pick at Wisconsin. With a healthy Fournette they run a couple of times to set up a very makeable winning FG attempt.
Against Auburn he played through his injury and he had to leave with another injury. with 1:38 left. Though he reentered he was limited. However, on the play before the injury he was stopped on a swing pass at 1:47, signalled timeout to the official while tugging his arm at 1:45. The official failed to stop the clock until 1:43. Had the clock been stopped at 1:43 the last play would have been snapped with three seconds left and not one second.
