The premise of that optimism is laughable.

It's still Les' offense and we haven't seen anything to indicate that it will change.

Face it, we have no evidence that LSU will ever be explosive on the offensive side. The last four years have varied from dismal to mediocre on offense. We have settled for countless field goals after being given short fields by the defense or special teams.

Our success is impressive but not much can be attributed to offense.

Want to buy a bridge??? Miles is a good person, good recruiter and a horrible game day coach. He promises change and nothing changes. Get used to loosing 2-4 games per year. Bama's little sister, now it will also include A&M and Georgia maybe South Carolina next year.

Drink the cool aid ...

Miles finally fixes the offense the same season our defense gets gutted.

Lose 5 games but at least we'll put up style points!!

Ware and Ford are gone, which should allow for Hill and Blue, the two best backs we had to begin with to get the bulk of the carriers. O-Line should go from patchwork to top-caliber and Mett should be a little better and hopefully the WRs can not drop all the passes.

While Miles is a big part of the problem, I think inexperience and execution was a big factor.

didn't we hear this type of stuff after 1/9. we heard our offense was going to be different this year. We did have injuries but even once we got going les pulled the reigns back in the arky game.

Our offense was different. We threw a lot more and the receivers couldn't catch so miles resorted back to his old format. We need new running packages.

yeah tons of slants and curls with DB's squatting. brilliant strategy!

and do not blame it all on the players. if that is the case our recruiting has sucked since 2008 or has our player development coaching sucked since then? which is it?

Sounds like we can all look forward to a whole bunch of the same shite, only difference being a few new athletes. If they can't run a more diversified offense this year, it could be a very long year.

This is scary to me. Remember 2008, "This will be the finest Offensive Line we've had since I've been here?" CompleteOpposite occured.

Les speaks in opposites all the time, like it's a part of his "Gamesmanship."
