2011 = 2007 All Over Again?

So far the start of this season has an eerie feel to it, like we've seen it before. Start of the year with two wins, one against a BCS Title Game contender and looking to play in SEC bloodbath after bloodbath.
We have Kentucky on the schedule and we have Tennessee replacing South Carolina. Our chief competition to get to Atlanta is Alabama and we will go on the road to play them.
The National Championship Game is in New Orleans. We have a defense that looks like it will destroy everyone it plays, and we play the defending national champion at home.
I know its not all the same, but a lot of it is familiar. Any other deja vu things I'm missing so far?

Some ppl forget where we go on 10/8.
This is a great team, but lets see us get our backs against the wall. Need to see if our Offense can get us out of a corner before we call this team '07 again.
That '07 offense could win games for you.

Anyone know if LSU has ever played and/or beaten the National Champion and NCG Runner-Up in the same season before?

Hopefully not. We won't get in with 2 losses this year.

Nope, it's about time we went undefeated! I don't want to crunch numbers when it gets to that time of the year watching meaningless games and rooting for teams that I've never heard of!
