2009 Tradition Fund
Posted by flatfoot on 2/2/09 at 7:20 pm00
Does anyone know if there were increases in the tradition fund for the 2009 tickets? I got a notice today and saw a substantial increase in the fund with no change in ticket location.

I haven't heard anything, where do you sit?

I sit in section 207 North endzone. The LSU website shows $140 per seat. My renewal came in and showed an increase to $175 per seat. I will definitely call in A.M.

The tradition fund is in the second year of a 3 year increase. Depending on where your tickets are determines the size of the increase. This increase was proposed by Skip Bertman before he retired and was approved by the LSU Board of Commissioners.

I just check my email and I got that as well. My seats are in the southend and mine went to 175 per seat also.

The link you provided shows the 2008 rates and not the new 2009 rates.

My invoice shows 4 seats at $175/seat...with a total of $800

That makes sense...wonder why the invoice doesn't make that clear?

I have seats in the high rent zone. Fee for each seat was $650 last year, $800 this year, and will be $950 next year. These price rises were announced last year.
