2008 we lost 5 games but CLM and his staff made it through

There are many things I don't understand and not having upper classmen at QB is my #1 question.

That being said, CLM and his staff have the team ready for 2015 even with what looks to be weak QB play.

Hate to say it but it sure seems like another JJ vs Lee is shaping up with AJ vs BH. I hate it but history is repeating itself again.

Another 2011 even with weak QB play and having Bama waiting at the end of the season.

And we have been a shitty offensive team ever since. 2011 was a fluke.

2011 was bailed out by great Special Team play and an epic defense. Even last year, it was arguably the best offense Miles has ever put on the field at LSU and it had stints of awful AND lost 3 games.

Since 2008, we have been a very average offensive team.

The 2011 offense also converted 3rd downs very well. Just because they didn't have a lot of yards doesn't mean they weren't good.

Defense had nothing to do with that, am I right?

I guess you ignore the fact that our QB last year is now a starter in the NFL.

And it's utterly inexcusable.

And both starting WRs - and 2 of the tailbacks rushed for 150 yards this week.

All but Mett and Blue would be seniors on the current team.

I would say below average. I am still perplexed by the 3 first half ints that Mett threw in the Ole Miss game.

You're using last year's offense to say we are below average?

God this place is full of retards.

2011 O absolutely was elevated by one of the greatest Defenses in college history as well as a ridiculous ST. Our opponents Defenses could not stay off the field as our D was crushing the souls of anyone that was unfortunate enough to face them. If we had last years O, or even an above average O that year, we would have walked to a NC.

We were way above average on 3rd down conversions and scoring. 2011 was not a below average offense no matter how many times you keep falsely saying as much.

ETA: And before you act like I'm saying it was great offense, I'm not. But they were most certainly average, as in better than 1/2 of all teams in stats that matter.

And we will have weak QB play again and lose 2-3 games once more. Doesn't matter who lines up, Miles will not trust them and have them run his 5 plays of perfect execution. Lather, Rinse, Repeat...

look how great some of our players are doing in the nfl this year,

with miles coaching them it translates into 3 losses

but it's ok we won 10 games and he's goofy

In all fairness the 2011 offense was pretty darn good while LEE was the qb. Look at the AU and FLA games . those were blowout wins....
