2003 13-1 SEC West Champs, SEC Champs, BCS Champs
2004 9-4 Citrus Bowl (Iowa Hail Mary loss)
2005 11-2 SEC West Champs, Peach Bowl Champs (40-3 Miami, they've never recovered)
2006 11-2 Sugar Bowl Champs (Maybe most talented LSU team ever?)
2007 12-2 SEC West Champs, SEC Champs, BCS Champs

Totals: 56-11 overall, 34-10 SEC (including SEC title games), 4-1 bowl record

5-0 vs Bama
4-1 vs Florida
3-2 vs Auburn

2005 & 2007 two of only three times LSU has beaten Bama, Auburn & Florida in same season since 1980.

Let's start a new golden age in 2017!!!

You mean our best years ever were the Saban classes? Two loss Les took the best talent in America and found a way to lose at least two games with it. We backed our way in to the 07 title with 2 losses. Sad how much talent we burned through in the last decade.

06 team second best team in Miles era behind 2011 team.

If Okie State had gone to the final, that 2011 LSU team would be remembered as one of the greatest college teams in history.

Uh the best coach in cfb right now loses every year with the best talent so why it such a shocker to see a worse coach lose 2 a year?

That's the most ridiculous thing you've ever said on here, and that's saying something.

Wow.... Okie st could score a lot of points.... not saying LSU wasn't the better team . But you never know.... bottom line is that Miles should have made adjustments and he made Zero..... FACT......

How many undefeated complete seasons does the nest coach of our generation have? 1?

So the best coach of our generation with the best talent in cfb loses every year, but once ,to an inferior team. I dont see why some of you are so shocked that a worse coach than Saban loses 2 games a year. The best coaches in cfb loses at least once 99% of the time.
Unless you have meyer, saban,or harbaugh it shouldnt be a shocking that your coach usually loses 2 games. Meyer, saban, and harbaugh usually lose 1 game to an inferior team,so im not understanding why you all are shocked and mad about lesser coaches losing 2.

I posted this awhile back when Herman was a possibility, but did you know that that a-hole (Herman) was the offensive coordinator of Iowa State in 2011? The same Iowa State that handed that OK state team their only loss of the season and kept them out of the championship (even though they still should've been in over Bama).
So really.. Herman is to blame for all of our frustrations with Bama. They would NOT have started their dynasty without that win.

Oklahoma state might've scored 17 on our defense that year. They scored all those points on the garbage big 12 "defenses". Would not have been a close game at all.

And yea, Miles def needed an adjustment or two.
