Not sure who will be added to that group in the stadium, but I will predict that LSU will find ways of having more names around the stadium and will utilize it as a way of finding income. I was around a group of investors about 10 years ago who proposed using names of former athletes at all the gates or other places around the stadium. If it amounts to income, that will prevail. The original idea had some creative stuff involved and several greats from the past would have their names in different places. I don't remember the details or how they planned to create income but thought it was cool.

Faulk and Dorsey... maybe Peterson...
Mathieu could, but was dismissed from the team... think that eliminates him....
Fournette, time will tell... being out so many games this year hurt his overall numbers...

Glenn Dorsey should absolutely have his name up there.
2-time All-American 1st team. Won every individual defensive award imaginable his senior season. Won SEC and national titles.
Stayed for his senior season. He was going to be a 1st-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft before an injury during his junior season. Pretty sure he's an LSU grad. Homegrown guy from right down the road. Lengthy NFL career. He checks every box.
Dorsey recovered a fumble on his first ever snap as an LSU Tiger.
Put him up there.

Well...most of the great players don't graduate anymore. They quit school after 3 years. As long as LSU has graduation as a qualifier for the retired number, not many of the greats will have their numbers retired.
And frankly, I'm fine with the policy. Those who have their numbers retired should be an exclusive class. Honor the ones who were great on the field and earned their degree.
