This is the reason we lost. Bitch and moan about coaching all you want, but if you make just 3 more of these you're looking at a completely different final few minutes of the game without having to force 3-pt shots to get back in it. Yeah we still could have won and had plenty of chances, but this is the #1 problem last night. Gotta have those.

Not a good basketball team, top to bottom. Coaching is atrocious, defense is atrocious, effort is lacking at inopportune times, offense is either fast break or give it to Ben. Just not very good all around.

If a program is consistently bad at the free throw line year after year, can some blame not be assigned to the coach?

This loss is on FT and rebounds. You're right. If they shoot at least 75% on the line, then that's 6 more points. All you need at the end is a better shot.

Don't get carried away here now! FT shooting and lack of defense and again letting another player get a career high did us in. I hate to bash any player but Robinson gives us zero when he is in I don't understand why in the hell does he keep getting minutes. frick at this point I would play Epps or even Bridgewater. Every time Robinson came in it seemed that we lost our momentum.

Didnt hit our threes AGAIN
Unreal to me how terrible we are at shooting the 3. This team is supposed to be full of shooters, but Hornsby is the only one who can hit it with any consistency.

it attributed to the lost, but despite the stupid zone defense, if he make half the free throws we missed, we win the game.
We were in the bonus with 14 minutes left in the game. Normally that's awesome, but with this team, it was a big fat negative.

Our offensive execution was actually pretty good. We got shots we wanted, but the horrendous free throw shooting turned them into de facto turnovers. FT shooting was THE story of the game last night.

Exactly, if the poor FT performance last night was an anomaly then sure it's just a bad night. However; we all see a pattern.

And we worked the ball down to Simmons in the post exactly one time after the guy with the big ears got his 4th foul. ONE frickING TIME! Simmons scored with no problem. It worked so well we stopped doing it.

Last night, TQ thought he was Steph Curry so he kept firing. That's on CJJ. TQ should never, ever shoot 8 3's even if he had made 3 or 4. He simply isn't a good consistent shooter.
AB just didn't have it last night. Dude missed a 2 foot put back. We have a 3 or 4 on 1 break and Patterson shoots a 3.
Poor shot selection is as bad as Poor shooters.
And Hornsby had at least 2 or 3 go in and out. So he should keep shooting. But, I would rather have Victor shooting 3's last night than TQ.
