1. They are expecting us to Run and will stack the line like usual and have the athletes to do it. We need short quick passing to work in this game. Won't have time for long complicated passing plays. Short and quick is key and our WR need to catch every damn ball.

2. LSU needs to stop Bama screen passes with minimal yards. They do very well creating a wall of blockers with their WR which a RB or TE fade out behind this wall and get the pass. Our DB need to fight off their WR blocks and make the tackles.

3. Bonus - Contain Bama QB and not let him break long runs. He is not that quick (got speed once going but not quick at the start).

Bama didn't need to load the box last year. They ran out of their base defense. Don't expect this front 7 to need extra help from safeties.

Etling has to be sharp, no turnovers, solid D and special teams. Will take 60 minutes, but we're capable. Thinking opening line Bama -7.

Contain Hurts, PROTECT Etling, and execute on special teams.

Last year they used 3 NTs at the line to stop fournette and it worked.

How does LSU counter?

Alabama has been controlling the los with 6 men. they won't have 7 unless we load up the line with blockers. their weakness is one on one pass coverage. the coaches have to figure the best way to attack. and the best formations. it was interesting - against ole miss our power formations - I and the 1 back set with 2 TE's, 2 WR's worked better than the spread to rush. we are more likely to see the FB for LSU vs Alabama. which is fine, since we will use him to catch passes. And throw to our TE's. Alabama has never had to cover our TE's before. hopefully we can get some good mismatches there.

Beckwith and Riley are both playing like monsters. add adams and hopefully we will be on the alert for screens. arden key will be key on this as well. if he can sniff them instead of rushing hard, he can use that speed to disrupt.

We need to eliminate turnovers. This will kill us against the Gumps.

We have to find some production at NT. If Gilmore gets pushed back 5 yards every single play, it will severely limit what Beckwith can do.

Oline has to block. Period. LF was hit in the backfield on something like 13 of his carries last year. If that happens again, Bama rolls us.

This what worries me. I hope the freshman ed alexander is ready because we will need him. Not confident in gilmore getting any push in the middle. IF TV would work harder then he would be what need.

There also needs to be immediate adjustments in the game(not waiting till half or later). Find what part works and exploit that the whole game.

Add to this fair officiating. Don't call a lot of non reviewable penalties like pass interference.

Not only do I want LSU to end the Bama streak, I want LSU to inflict some pain as well while doing it!

To act like the safeties weren't cheating up in that game is just dumb. They were closer to the line than in any other game Alabama played all year.

They gameplanned well against LSU...but let's face it many on the rant could have gameplanned against that offense. LF will not have 17 carries for 31 yards this year....

1) LSU to score points

2) Alabama to score less points

If we can accomplish these 2 I think we have a great chance of winning.
