AUBURN, Ala. – The second-ranked LSU gymnastics team continues its quest for the first Southeastern Conference regular season championship against No. 14 Auburn (0-8, 0-5 SEC) in a nationally-televised meet at 7:30 p.m. CT Friday inside Auburn Arena.

With a win on Friday, the Tigers (10-1, 5-0) would hold at least a share of the regular season championship with the chance to win it outright in the final conference meet on March 5 against Florida. The meet marks the 10th ranked opponent LSU has faced this season.

The top-25 showdown will be televised live on the SEC Network. Bart Conner, Kathy Johnson Clarke and Laura Rutledge will have the call in what will be LSU’s fourth meet on live television. The Tigers are looking to remain undefeated in 2017 and continue a streak of meet with a team score of 197 or better.

It's been a long day

Freshman Kennedi Edney is under the weather. She made the trip to Auburn and should be good to go for next weekend.

Florida just dropped a 197.900. They're so talented. Would love to see the Tigers hit a 198 tonight but I won't hold my breath. Auburn is a tough place to compete.

Am i reading that right? I don't understand gymnastics, how in the hell do you get a top 15 ranking without ever winning a meet?

Double huh??? I get that the rankings are due to average meet score but how do you become the 14th best program without ever outscoring your opponent? Seems like every meet is a top 10 matchup

It's the average score that matters, not W/L

Priessman!

At the end of the first rotation:

LSU - 49.350
AU - 48.800

ETA: We got a sticky! Thanks mods!

ETA2: Canamella and Finnegan start us off with two great vaults!

ETA3: our Fighting Tigers are roaring back on vault! Syd with a 9.90

I like the other team with Kaleigh Dickson. But I'm not biased.
