These guys look awesome. Now I see why Quinn and Diarse transferred. Do we have any more wideouts coming this summer ?

Still think Quinn would have been one of the primaries (Quinn in slot, we dont really have guys to put there)...but he just still wouldn't get the touches he would probably want.

Drake has crazy potential, but his actual catching ability is suspect. Very raw.

I wouldn't mind seeing or be surprised if you see Guice at the slot a couple of times a game. He has great hands and could do some serious damage on a bubble screen type play or crossing routes.

Or we could put a 6'3 beast at slot WR with our other 6'3+ WRs out wide

Guise had like 987 yards receiving in the all star game...and that Len Fornette guy can catch too

He would have gotten a lot more if he hadn't dropped those passes against Bama.

Nothing against Trey but he started as a true freshman and had his opportunity, kid just couldn't make the necessary plays and you don't have that luxury when you play with Dural, Dupree, Chark, Tyron and have kids like Dee, Sullivan and Davis coming in.

Dee Anderson looked great, Stephen Sullivan has room to improve and I think he has the highest ceiling out of the new WR's, and Drake Davis is just a pure athlete, will be like having another OBJ on offense.

You mean dropping a probable game winning pass hit him right in the hands

Ferguson did practice in the slot this spring. I think if Johnson doesn't make the top slot spot, then Ferguson has that.

He dropped 2. Both hit him dead in the hands, the drops ended our 2 last drives. He catches either and we win.

I had a strong dislike for him because of this.

The WR pecking order looks like this right now in my opinion:

Dupre
Dural
Chark
Ferguson
Johnson
Anderson
Dillon
Sullivan

With Davis to be somewhere between Johnson and Sullivan upon arrival

It's hard for me to believe that Johnson won't wind up at 3 or 4 given how much he played last year. And that morning radio crew keeps harping on that Dillon train--it seems he gives the corps the only "wiggle" guy that you could maybe throw a bubble screen to, have him win a 1-on-1 matchup and take it to the house. And Davis may be the best athlete out of all of them. am almost always against redshirting anybody but QBs and OLs, especially skill position guys, but there's just no way all these guys can see significant time without several injuries there. Not this year.

Tough to say until they all arrive. As crazy as it may sound after his outstanding day Saturday, he might be 3rd in this class alone. Davis is the best athlete and you'd be hard pressed to find a different opinion on that subject. Sullivan is a great talent as well and was rated highest of the three. Same height as Anderson and 25 pounds heavier. This could be the best class since...ever.

Yeah he was the #1 WR in the nation, as was Dupre. Crazy how stocked LSU is at WR.
