1990 Texas A&M (#8) vs LSU (NR) - LSU Cheerleader fights A&M football player

Here is a video of a big play by Todd Kinchen against A&M in 1990 at Tiger Stadium. Checkout the LSU cheerleader getting into a fight with the A&M player after the play. I’m looking forward to bringing this rivalry back.

You could almost feel that block from the student section...
Kinchen went crazy in that game...
I'm looking forward to playing A&M again every year... it was a great, bitter rivalry.

I was there - my senior year at LSU. Odell was a good player for LSU, but so was Kinchen. I think we were a lot better talent wise and much of our failure was on the coaches, just my opinion.
The decline of LSU football started the game before with a loss to Vanderbilt (or maybe the loss against Syracuse in the Hall of Fame Bowl at the end of the prior season?). Somehow we got our moxie back to beat A&M in this game. This night was fun, but it got ugly that season.
