#18 Jersey Selection Question.

I was always under the impression, that the team voted on who got to wear it. Maybe I'm wrong but, it seems as if Coach O has taken this overcompletely. Is this a good idea? I'm interested to ser everyones opinion on this?
SIAP, he has now handed out and #18 to JD Moore. This is not about who got the jersey, it's about the process as to how its now being determined.

O offered it to LaCouture to get him to come back to school this year. I think Moore was going to get it if they had the normal team vote, but anyway.... Two great guys.

For you information, Christian LaCouture woke up yesterday morning and decided he wanted to share the #18 with JD. LaCouture felt Moore was deserving of the number. Christian got up in front of the whole team and awarded JD the jersey. The whole team gave JD a standing ovation signaling their approval of the move by LaCouture. JD was emotional and you could tell it meant a lot to him. This tells a lot about Christian's leadership.

Committee of the former 18s and the coach decide who wears it next. Lac was the one who came up with the idea to let JD share it.
