How many ranters predict at end of first quarter that game comes down to a missed miss state field goal?

I bet that this thread gets anchored or whacked in under 10 posts.

I've moved on. I'm happy with a Win on the road in a hostile cowbell ringin environments.

That being said I thought we would run away with it. No pun inteedd

not me but I was texting updates to some friends in Europe (I know they were asleep but women don't think everything through) I gave quarterly updates. The end of the 3rd I texted 21-6 CLM allowing state to hang in the game...might end bad

At the end of the first quarter? No.

At half-time when it was 14-3? Absolutely.

With few exceptions either way, even if LSU under Les Miles is down and struggling against a solid opponent (most recently Wisc, Ole Miss in 2013) I fully expect them to comeback and make it a tight 4th quarter. Likewise, if LSU is dominating a solid opponent in the first half, I fully expect the opponent to come back and make it a tight 4th quarter.

When we get up 14-0 I thought we would really blow them out of their own stadium, like 38-3 or something.

Then....Les Miles took over.
