Could be one of the least attended hoops games ever... I'm hoping they move it up an hour... I know I'll be at hoops either way, but I'd love to see more of the football game afterwards.

If LSU loses any basketball games prior the scheduled Wake Forest game (like this weekend's tilt at Houston) no one will care.

I think in 2008 they moved the tip of the hoops game when we played GT in the chick fil a bowl

12/29 is a Tuesday (work day), so somewhat limited in what LSU can do to help fans. 5:00 or 6:00 would help. I've got tickets to both (bowl game and Wake Forest) so either way I'm screwed.

SEC Network has another hoops game on ahead of us so I doubt they move it up. Unless they do and put it on the alternate channel.

This in general grinds my gears. Football games, generally with anywhere from 75,000 to 100,000 sometimes have their kickoff times set 6 days in advance impacting travelers. Yet basketball tip-offs are set in stone in September. Why?
I can't believe moving this game to Monday would unravel the ESPN "family of networks" to its core.
I know I'm old and few care about the "I remember when" stories,but in Jan of 1986, Auburn was set to play Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl. They had a home game with Kentucky in basketball on Jan 2.With a good crowd headed to Dallas and the cheerleaders not scheduled to be back by tip, UK and the SEC agreed to move it to a Monday.Now, tv wasn't involved,but Wake Forest vs LSU on the SECN isn't quite like tinkering with the date and time of Michigan State vs Duke .
