This seems to be the new popular miles apologists theme song. I'm sick of hearing this shite. We play more games than we used to and there are only 3 maybe 4 teams and that's a stretch we play a year of the same caliber program. It's a stage at best to win 10 games. Not worthy of 4MM a year if you ask me. This years recruiting class is quite possibly the biggest ever for our program. If Miles doesn't keep our top LA talent we are toast cause we all know he can't coach guys up.

I'll be impressed with a ten win season when we go to 9 game conference schedule. Or even a ten game conference schedule. I would support that.

Why wouldn't a 10 win season be impressive? So...you either want NC or 6-6...that sounds logical.
With this defense...10 wins is a pretty great job.

Right, no players have ever gotten better while at LSU. We've had nothing but 5 star players.

ETA: :inb4it'sallthecoordinators: Who is responsible for hiring them?

7-3 with arguably 1 quality win doesn't impress you?

I hoping this playoff system will take some pressure off.
You think Auburn wishes it was this year?
Theyve gotten better every game.

We still have 9 in a row to play next season without an open date.

There are plenty of teams paying 2m - 4m per for 6-9 wins......you prefer being there?

after 10 then it's 11 and when you win 11 games in the SEC 9 out of 10 times you will be in the championship game. If we average 10 wins a season then we are only 1 game from reaching the championship every year. What part of this equation don't you understand you tool.

I would be damn happy with a 10 win season this year. If you can win 10 games with this awful defense and embarrassment for an o-line then that would be a great accomplishment, but I would bet my sons college fund that we don't win 10 this year. That's as sure a bet as Bama -13 last weekend

It doesn't take a genius to look around college football, and compare consistent 10 win seasons to the field...and evaluate how elite it is.

Obviously, you are no genius.

What a great thing this must be for the Auburn team and their fans. To have coaches that actually coach their players and help them get better. It really sucks that this is the best that Lsu is settling for When does it become a reality to the people in power that " Yes what I am seeing and have been seeing is actually happening and something has to be done.?"

Well...since this has been brought into the discussion...just have to consider:

Earlier this season and prior to the season ... all we heard was how Bama had lost one of the greatest o-lines in history ... and after a few games, how bad they were and couldn't protect McCarron.

Well...pretty much looked to me like Bama has fixed any such o-line concerns they may have had....doesn't it? (during the season)

The dirtiest McCarron got and the hardest hit was when Little Nicky leaped into his arms.

10 wins certainly doesnt impress me when it came against

TCU (4-6) with only 2 wins in conf

UAB 2 win team (two lowly wins at that)

Kent St another 2 win team (against w michigane and liberty lmao)

Auburn (Yes our only solid win and we got them at the right time and at home)

Florida (4 wins and worst season that they have had in a while absolutely putrid offense against our putrid defense helped)

Furman (lmao.... FURMAN!!)

Thats it so far.

A&M would be a nice win IF we win. Doubtful.

Arkansas sucks and hasnt won a game since Sept.

Seriously.. Im supposed to be impressed with 10 wins in that crapfest of a season? Even the cupcakes we played were shite in their cupcake conferences.

If we finish 8-5 with that shitfest above then where are we?

I will single it out to two areas to help you. Ron Cooper made 3* players superstars. Corey Raymond turns 4* db's into lost souls. Thank god for the god given talent that some of our players have that helps combat the coaching deficiencies on this team. I'm not impressed one bit with the progression of our d-line from Brick Haley. I don't see anyone getting better. And coach Stud is probably the worst coach on the team. Our o-line continues to regress just change the year . Do you not see this or are you an ostrich?

I respect Bama for several reasons but the main one is for their fanbase and school certainly being united against mediocrity.

Bama feels entitled to championships and they will hire and fire yearly till they get it.......and you know what, they get it.

8-4 again with not 1 quality win.
