69 players currently in the league, only BCS program in the state, zero titles in the last seven years.

I can't believe the number of times people on this board people say Lsu hasn't won a title in 7 years.

And if we had few players in the NFL that would be indicative of poor talent development right?

Yeah, I wear my "2011 SEC Champs" T-shirt around here in Alabama all the time!

Just hope we are bowl-eligible so we can play in the Birmingham Bowl.

Texas and California probably have a higher volume of NFL players. How many times have schools from those states won in the last 7 years?

Well considering Bama backed into the NC game and didn't win the SECCG you should.

Texas & California have to split all that talent among four in-state BCS schools. Bama and Auburn split less talent than LA and still win titles.
Miles has been a drag on this program since he was hired. Coordinators don't hang around, players either leave early or are first-round busts. (Jamarcus, Buster Davis, Dorsey, Tyson Jackson). Really hope Michigan makes a change this year and they take Miles off our hands so we don't have to pay the buyout.

LSU grad, lived in La all my life before I joined the military, moved here when I retired this summer because Piyush has wrecked higher Ed in La. and no state universities are hiring PhDs in military history.

But, yeah, I'm a Gump.
