So yeah, I agree. 2018 will also be maybe the hardest schedule LSU has played in the last 30 years maybe besides 2006 and 2011.

i'm getting legit terrified about 2018 the more i think about it

i mean i think we win 8 games before a bowl this year and it's just going to leave a malaise in the program...like complacency

then next year, we have the potential for the wheels to fall off

I Hardly ever see him doing any coaching on sideline. Just cheerleading

There are honestly 2 or 3 more blowouts on the schedule this year in Florida, Bama, and Auburn.

Coach O talking about bringing in JuCo guys scares the shite out of me.

LSU should not be in that position.

Nobody. Referring more to last night's posts. . My point was offensive line is going to be a huge detriment

idk man. I thought we could still get to 8-9 even after the State game, but I don't think so anymore.

I know Florida sucks and could easily be 0-3, but it's pretty unlikely we go there and win.

We're probably going to be 4-3 going into the Ole Miss game. Season will be over in terms of accomplishing anything. I'm sure the people of Oxford would love to stick it to Orgeron in his first game back.

Games against Ole Miss, Arkansas, Tennessee, and aTm are probably all toss ups.

6-6 looks likely. Orgeron should be fired for 6-6, but we couldn't do it.

Alleva needs to be fired after this school year. Miles needs to get the Nebraska job. Then Orgeron needs to be fired, as early as the middle of next season. Definitely at the end of it. Unless things take a complete 180 turn.

-If Deculus is as talented as people led on leading up to his recruitment, he could slide in and play LT. That would be a start. I know they are looking at JUCO for stop gaps as well

- I think last night we saw Canada start to lean to our more talented, WR. Drake Davis is a freak and Sullivan has great size. Both of these guys are raw and young and by the end of the year i think we wont be cursing our WR depth for 2018.

-RB is a legit concern. We'll need to possibly land a JUCO if there is one, or possibly move a player from another position that was a HS RB.

-D should be really good. We are loaded at every position with young talent.

unless something terrible happens, we're going to have 4 wins a week from now

we should beat Ole Miss, Arky, and TAMU

i also think it's very possible that we get an upset against one of the "good" teams (Florida, Auburn, Bama)

i can see O playing spoiler

i think Canada is going to have to transition. he seems to want the more shifty/quick 5-11 - 6-1 guys and doesn't know how to use the tall, faster guys who aren't as agile. he has to incorporate them or we're fricked moving forward b/c we recruited the hell out of the tall guys

i have no idea how he hasn't started yet, if he's as good as advertised

i'm not even ripping on Malone but he's 6-3 at best and is a guard from a physical standpoint. it's not his fault that Grimes is putting him at a position to fail. i think he'd be a very solid SEC OG but is borderline 1AA level at LT. again, not his fault, but O/Grimes continued on with that failure of a LT experiment and it's inexcusable

we have had stud RBs for so long, we don't know what life is like without one. This could be a huge deal moving forward.

It's going to be really tough to win on the road with this O-line. Plus, if Fitzgerald ran all over us, I'm very worried about what Patterson may do. Maybe Tennessee will have completely collapsed by the end of the season when we play them.

It starts and ends with the OL, period. We have 3 returning starters and they are still lacking at best. The coaching/player dev and recruiting has been atrocious. We will be fortunate to go .500 in SEC play IF this group does not improve, fast! It is what it is....

On DEF, wow are we young?! Two Sr's, who are average SEC DL, starting with a host of SO, FR, RS FR everywhere and Jr's with limited game experience. This group can get better IMO as the season unfolds, and will likely be VERY good next year. With that said teams like Bama and possible AUB might really run it up on us.

CEO and staff need to just 'keep coaching', keep working with this young group and play good, disciplined FB. Encouraging to see the deep KO's, limited penalties, only 1 turnover (through 3 games) and Etling throwing well....when he has time. Honestly I understand getting Brennan PT, but I would have stuck with a hot-hand, in-synch Etling last night in the 2d half. He made some darn good throws on a dime. Keep working, keep charging Tigers!

How can you say this? We got stuffed in the running game, for the most part, two weeks in a row by average to below average defenses, and our QB can't even get to step five in a five step drop.
Also, what makes you think we'll be able to stop any of these teams?

With the exception of Troy this Saturday, there isn't a single game left on the schedule that I feel comfortable about us winning.

I agree. I think we'll be pretty good on the defensive line next year.

Offensive line on the other hand, could be rough. Best case scenario, nobody leaves early (preseason, Clapp and Weathersby were candidates, I'm not sure now) and Deculus and one or two juco guys compete for the other starting tackle spot. I think we'll have some talented guys competing for the interior spots.

Worst case scenario, Clapp and Weathersby both leave and we're replacing 3 starters with very limited options.
