Pretty sure he's being recruited as a DB. He's looking good in the game but a lot of what he is doing is due to his athletic ability. He's a playmaker.

Side note: Devonta Smith is good at football. Looks like he's on a whole other level than anybody else out there.

Smith real deal. Hasn't practiced all week with turf toe. Keeps going down after a few plays. But 1 kick return td. An interception. About 70 yards receiving in first half.

Side note the qb from Amite is the real deal as well. La tech committ but looks very impressive

Kind of reminds me of Tre White coming out of high school. Raw talent that needs to add weight and get reps on the defensive side of the ball. Don't think he's quite as fast as white though.

Why not spend a red shirt year spending some time with the QBs and see what he can do on this level...nothing ventured, nothing gained!

his size is a problem....but he has some unreal ability to stay on his feet... im not sure if the kid wants to keep playing QB......dewayne is using his best plyrs where he needs them....kid is going to be really good at muliple positions ......DBU!!
