Why the sudden turnaround for Brennan?

Last night he said he would wait and meet with Canada after the phone call.
"Had a great talk with Coach Canada, willl make visit in january to meet face to face #geauxtigers"
Today, he's all Tigers. Specifically, 16 hours later:
"My recruiting process is finally shut down.. I am officially a Committed Tiger! #GeauxTigers"
Any input on the very sudden change? Why didn't he wait to meet him as he originally said?
Maybe it came to him in a dream.

Not sure there was an original 180. He said he would explore back up options until the LSU situation became clearer. We hired an OC and here we are.

I believe he is referring to Myles last night saying he likes the hire but wants to talk to him first. Then is solid this morning.

I think he always really wanted to play for LSU. The problems arose when (a) LSU had no OC in place (b) Ogeron stated he wanted a dual-threat guy and (c) Ogeron abruptly offered the kid from Hawaii who clearly never considered LSU a likely destination. Brennan, a kid who seemed to be as strongly committed to LSU as anyone, evidently took it as a slap in the face and a sign that LSU wasn't completely committed to him.
Now, the kid from Hawaii clearly stated he's not considering LSU (as evidence by an alleged a phone call to Brennan himself). Ogeron had to hire an OC who's best year as a coordinator (this season) was with a non-dual threat QB. I suspect Canada probably told him that he doesn't necessarily have a "system" and that he will run what fits his personnel best. Now Brennan can't rest easier and he sees no need to look around any further. LSU is where he wants to be.

His Dad likely told him the same thing mine would have. Sleep on it and if you still want to go to LSU, announce. Also some likely words about loyalty were exchanged if he's anything like mine.

It's not so much that anyone missed it, it was just clear as day when Canada was announced that he was coming. Today just decided to make a public statement.

Who really gives 2 shts about it? Wtf is the problem with a kid all of a sudden deciding to follow his heart. I don't give a sht if it was 5 minutes ago.
