Welllllllllllllll, the guy that was the "LB guru" on the staff just left and he was a lazy recruiter. Expect that to change with Steele pounding the pavement.

We do have a need but the class next year will make up for the lack of Backers in this class.

We hauled in Kwon, debo, beck with, Garrett all in the last few years. We are loaded at the position

...actually , we don't necessarily "need" LBs this class. Nice to have got a good one , but we are in good shape there now .. plus next years class will re-load there it looks like .. no need to panic . KS and EO will get 'em.

Chavis didn't recruit and usually only hit on in state guys with an elite mixed in here and there. For some reason, the staff didn't feel like any in state deserved an offer. One elite prospect we had a chance on decided to stay home. Next year, this is going to be an entirely new ball game. DL and LB's aren't going to be an issue.

It is a combination of factors:
LSU had a huge LB class in 2012.
And only needed to recruit elite players in 2013-2014.
And there was a lack of elite players in LA for 2015.
And there is a wealth of LB talent for 2016.
