Why are we going after 3 star linebackers in Florida when we have multiple 3 star linebackers in house. We need to sign aleast two guys to fullfill our needs.

They don't fit what Aranda wants

I would like us to go crazy oversinging LB's. Problem is, if they don't work out they are a roster drag for 4-5 years.

I can't tell you the reason but clearly the staff doesn't think the talent is in state

Exactly there a reason they haven't offered yet. One 3 star kid isn't the same as the next.

If the staff signed 4 3-stars nobody heard of, this board would lose it.

I don't think we should panic and go with the McElwain recruiting approach.

The great "why elite linebackers hate LSU" mystery deepens.

La. Is a problem for linebackers in general. Lots of smallish schools. The guys with the physical build to play SEC linebacker are going to be on the DL for the most part.

The instate LBs without offers are too slow. We have been over this time and time again.

Yes that fit his system. Obviously he prefers other players than what is in state.

When you just start signing "the highest guy left" in order to fill holes, you've already given up. I trust Aranda more than any coach we've had since Saban. He'll find a way to make it work by being smart and patient.

This guy runs a 4.59 and would love an offer.

I've seen him play and i think he would thrive under Aranda. He'll put on weight in college and be a heck of a player for someone.

I'm gonna trust Aranda here, most of the guys big enough to play LB in the SEC are currently listed as WDE & SDE, like Beckwith was.. instate guys like justin Harris, etc are who I'm interested in, per reports the staff are as well

Seen him play several times as well. Has a lot of potential. Not sure why tech hasn't offered.
