I haven't followed recruiting much this season as I've just been too busy. But can anyone give me a few names of guys we're still legitimately in the running for? That'd be much appreciated

I think Kendall Beckwith and Priest Willis are the biggest targets. Nkemdiche is an outside shot.

Coming down the stretch, it appears we are im the running for LB/DE Kendall Beckwith out of East Feliciana. Beckwith is a consensus Top 3 player in the state and will make his selection between LSU and Alabama at the Under Armour game next week.

DB Priest Willis out of Arizona recently visited LSU and from everything I've read, he seemed to thoroughly enjoy his visit. Willis is a Top 100 player in the country, FWIW.

DT Marquedious (sp?) Bain out of Florida will more than likely pick LSU when he chooses at the UA game next week.

Other top prospects in the hunt include California safety Tahaan Goodman and Baton Rouge UHigh DE Tim Williams.

Realistically beckwith Bain and Gardner if he makes the grades also in the running for Willis and rk I think Willis would be the most realistic out of those two would be Willis there were rumors rk was a silent commit but we'll see

Bain is pretty much a silent commit to us.

Kendell Beckwith is a 50/50 shot with us and Bama. Have no idea where he is going to go.

Gardner is a JUCO receiver choosing between LSU or trying to make it to the NFL. I think he picks LSU.

Priest Willis is another one I'm unsure of. He really likes LSU, but I don't know if he's exactly ready to say he wants to go to LSU.

Josh McNeil is a great tight end who decomitted from Bama after visiting LSU. We probably will get him, but if we don't, nbd. We already have a great one in Desean Smith.

Robert Nkemdiche is on and off. I think he really likes LSU, but I don't know if he's actually ever considered seriously going here. His parents want Ole Miss for his brother, but tbh, I don't think his parents will have as much say in his decision.

Reuben Foster has started considering LSU recently and we have some special connections with him, but otherwise I just don't think he's high on LSU. Probably will end up at Auburn or Georgia.

Thats how I see it.

Nkemdiche likely enjoys the recruiting process more than actually playing football.

Nkemdiche said LSU was #2 when he committed to South Carolina A&M. Mom likes bama if he doesn't play with bro at ole piss. Mom lives half the yr in Nigeria. This is a combination of needing to man the F up and make his own decision, & blood vs water. And yes, he has turned from a quiet phenom to a prima Donna. He's held Dabo's nuts over a hot stove and leveraged him to take some of his Grayson teammates. IMO, kid should honor his commitment to Clemson. But, it is what it is thanks to "countdown to signing day", rivals, scout, 247, Espn. Shouldn't even televise commitments. Turning kids into douches at 17.

RN isn't coming to LSU. I hope that I am wrong but just a kid playing the recruiting game.
