We thought we were getting Akers or at least Etienne. Everybody said that. Now we look like missing a big RB 3 years in a row.

Right, but I don't remember anyone saying that this year's running back class was going to be special after we missed on Akers and Etienne, which is what I thought you were saying.

I do remember people saying not to worry about only signing McMath and Netherly at WR last year, because the 2018 receiver class was stacked.

We cannot go into the 2018 season without recruiting a 4-5 star rb, and no CEH is not the answer!!!

Watched highlights. That dude is quick and hard to tackle.

That guy is good and definitely flying under the radar. He should be playing for a top tier school next year.

None of y'all know absolutely nothing about Edwards-Helaire or what kind of RB he'll make at LSU, just shooting off your traps like typical rantard LSU fans do. Edwards-Helaire moves better than Guice when it comes to cutting on the dime and he's built like a small tank. Joiner wanted to commit to LSU right now, but his Dad talked him out of it and wanted him to hold off til December. He doesn't wanna go to Alabama because he feels he'll be buried on their depth chart with players already their like Najee Harris and others. LSU will be fine at RB next season.

Next year is looking like our worst RB roster since the Hallman era

Umm, Robert Toomer, Jay Johnson, Robert Davis, Artie Moore and David Butler was considered an incredible haul for one signing class.
Toomer and Johnson were good SEC RB’s.

A) disagree with you about CEH completely.

B) I fully expect, hope, and anticipate Curry will get his 4th star. One of the few significant bumps (along with Baskerville who is probably a shoe-in)

C) While Curry, or Joiner, are below the Fournette/Guice level I feel like they will be equitable or better than a Williams/Blue level. I'm hoping for Jeremy Hill level, which people tend to forget just how good he was.

What's the deal with the Joiner to Bama talk? Just paranoid Tiger fans thinking Bama pulls the kid late? Everything I've seen says he's all LSU.

I think he and Bama courted each other... briefly. Going strictly off of [suspect] memory, because I'm lazy and not looking it up, that was in the month after being offered by Bama and a UoV in the summer.

Since his last list, I think Bama has been out of it because, as some above stated, he saw through the "you're our #1" BS.

ETA: you know the routine... Bama offered so he's going there usual "line". Soon to be replaced by Texas rumors created, here, out of insecurity and those who still think if we should throw Sabanesque money at Herman... still.

And Davis was "the best" of them all. Complete bust x 4 IMO. Toomer was a decent FB.

On 247, most CB's have Harold Joiner going to LSU. Alabama has depth at RB. Joiner could come here and potentially start as a freshman. We'll see. Recruiting is fluid.
