Knowing they will be playing 2-3 times a year at 2:30 in front of a national TV audience, or playing home games at night? In other words, is playing day games selling out the mystique of Tiger Stadium? If so, how much does this hurt us from a recruiting perspective?

I'm not sure recruits are thinking about the times in which their games will be played.

I think the most common aspect of a college choice for a recruit is how soon they can get on the field. For some it's more important than others, but early playing time is what pretty much all of them want.

Our facilities are some of the best in the country. That helps.

which program plays only when they want to?

like a recruit is worried about what time of day they're in front of 95000 fans

Winning, girls, relationship with coaches - in that order.

Winning, sure. But the atmosphere between mid-day and nights games is obviously different

In loose order of priority, recognizing that every recruit and their needs/desires/intentions vary:

• opportunity to play
• offensive/defensive scheme fit to skills
• rapport with coaching staff
• personal development
• winning tradition/recent success
• facilities
• education and educational support resources
• does it feel like "home" or "comfortable"

I think hookers/blow and actual game times are far down the list of priorities. I would reclassify game times to "exposure" as an item for consideration in the mind of a recruit.
