If you are a four-five star, you have plenty of choices. You don't want to make a mistake with your career.
Just because Joe Alleva is willing to gamble the program on his choice of a head coach, doesn't mean all these talented athletes and their families are willing to do likewise. At a minimum, some want to see how LSU does with The Orgeron as HC.
Makes sense.

No worries. Most of our 3 stars will become 5s. Maybe even 6s.

So no 5* will sign with either Texas or Oklahoma?

I think Coach O is trying to fill his team with guys who have a good work ethic and don't have that 5th star and feel entitled, however I think there are some humble 5 star prospects Coach O wants...
