If I was recruiting against Big Game Bob, I'd play the Mixon tape, look momma in the eye & say, "If your son goes to Oklahoma, these are the kind of teammates he will have".

It's always the kids' decision. He may be influenced by this or that but every kid faced with a choice lines the pros up with the cons compares it to the other alternatives and ultimately makes his own decision. There's no doubt that Phillips is sad that he cannot reward the OU coach who invested so much time in recruiting him. No doubt. Phillips is not an a$$hole. He's a kid who respects the hell out of Coach Kish but also knows that he personally is better off with Dave Aranda. But it's his choice. Just like the cat we lost to UT on signing day changed his mind.

In their minds, there has to be some other, seedier reason for the flip other than "he just liked LSU better". True homerism at its finest. They're a lot like some of our fans that way

Wow this is getting pathetic. Phillips tweeted an upset OU fan saying "sorry you're just so butt hurt". Really sounds like he's crying on the phone with OU coaches

Well the guy below my post said it was a fake account so I'll take his word for it. All I saw was the name Jacob Phillips and a picture of him as the pic so I figured it was him. I don't think I'd be able to find it. Someone posted a pic of it in a thread. If you do some diggin you might be able to find it in a thread on here.
