What about a post-season ranking of classes?
Posted by Mars duMorgue on 11/25/15 at 5:28 pm00
Incoming classes are ranked before they take a step on the field. In fact, Signing Day is one of the biggest events in college football.
It would be interesting to have a post-season ranking of classes, say the top 10 or 20 classes.
Wouldn't this give us a better idea of which programs brought in the best classes?
Of course, coaching, playing time, etc. could affect the analyses, but at least it would give us some measure here. And perhaps a more complete way to measure recruiting and coaching, the two factors that largely determine a team's quality.
Just a thought.

They do 3 or 4 year post rankings on classes.
Hell, I saw one where the re-ranked 2015 class a month or so back and Guice was like top 15 or something.
