Can someone fillme in on the West Monroe(were are these fans at?) vs Byrd game and how potential recruits did? Also, I'll be filming the Ruston @ Neville game tonight... who do I need to keep an eye on from Neville besides Diarse?

We WM looked awful and as if they cared less about being at Byrd. We miss Paul Turner alot. Trying to figure out the QB spot. O line looked weak. First loss in the reg season in 10+ years I believe.

WM gave up 9 points on a blocked punt and a safety due to a horrible snap on a punt. The defense looked great until they wore down. Offense ran for 400+ yards, just couldn't get the ball in the endzone. The playcalling was pretty bad and really didn't make sense at all. Mims started, but Osbourne got a ton of snaps at QB. Unless changes are made, this team will lose 4 regular season games.

2002 WM lost to Carver, Byrd, and Evangel in the regular season. Ben Soignier was the QB. He came out on the news and told fans to stay behind them, they'd put it together. Team still made it to the Dome that year, although they got pecker smacked by Evangel 35-4. Still a great job of coaching and the players showed a lot of heart that year.

I think if we keep Mims at QB and let him get comfortable and use Connor at receiver would be helpful, but none of it will work until the OL comes together.

That was just a ridiculous Evangel team, no shame in that one. That was JD Booty's last game because he skipped his senior year.

If I remember a few years ago that Byrd team was all sophs. and now they are seniors, so they should be pretty dang good and they are always very disciplined. Ruston looked rough tonight, maybe 1 1st down the 1st half, just horrid in every way on offense... Diarse is a smooth athlete, but not a WOW kind of athlete(not a Rueben Randle), but Neville has a LBer, last name White that made what seemed like every tackle in the 1st half

The LB is Ricky Wyatt. He had 4-5 tackles for loss and a sack. He made the tackle on 4 of the first 6 plays. Also had a 2 pt conversion on the swinging gate. Laurence Jones was the kid who had the interception and pretty decent return. He's just a soph

I was really looking forward to seeing the Madison Central-West Monroe game but it has lost alot of the appeal.

That Wyatt kid is a hell of a player.

Shame he's only 5'9. I see him ending up like Wadderious Sellers? I believe thats his name from a couple of years ago. Anyways I see him at a smaller school because he doesn't have the size to play big time ball.
