Well, I guess we should be worried about Trey Granier next year

He may be committed now but you can't underestimate his relationship with former teammates, especially Robinson...

Do we know anything concrete about his relationship with GRob?

Yes, they are very close. Some thought his commit would help us with GR but apparently not.

Pretty sure AU is going to offer if they haven't yet.

Granier on his LSU commitment:

"I knew what I wanted to do for a while," Granier said. "I know it's a place I've seen a lot and where I really wanted to so I just went ahead and did it. It made no sense in hiding. That's where I want to be."

"That's something I want to be around as long as I can," Granier said. "I don't see how any player around the country wouldn't want to be around the kind of atmosphere that was there Saturday." (On playing in Tiger Stadium)

"They were very supportive," Granier said. "Both of my parents support LSU. My whole family's LSU. No matter where I went they would support me 100 percent and this made it even better."

I dont think we need to worry too much about Granier

If he was worried about where Greg was going he wouldnt have committed BEFORE him.

Your point? Peterson was a Miami fan growing up where did he end up? Robinson had LSU as his clear leader in the beginning and just wanted to make sure we were the place. How did that end up?

Just sayin bruh... He's a homegrown guy. He's ours. It's the attention loving ( not that I have a prob with it) kids that you should fret over, not this guy

Calm down guy,

you asked if you thought we should be worried, we said no.

its our opinion. relax.

and i hope you dont let this worry you for the next 14 months, because otherwise you have much bigger issues than kids going to play for schools other than LSU

not to worry.

Robinson's stated wish-fear never to return home is not shared.

Some people actually love their relatives and want to spend their lives among them.

he had small pond fever. He needed to get away from home.
fine. Not everyone will share his point of view. it takes all kinds.

duece,in theory you're example of PP is a good one but honestly he is not the best example to use.He and Robinson both spurned the home school for the same reasons.Had nothing to do with a "change of heart".

I prefer Granier over G Rob anyway. He is a great LB--that's a definite position of need for LSU & has been for a while. G Rob is a guard who may want to play tackle in college. He wouldn't be able to beat out Collins or Faulk. Also are we sure he's better than either Corey White or Trai Turner?

My wife told me Granier's mother said he can go to any college he wants as long as it's in Louisiana

That kind of limits his choices.

Is this what GR meant by:

The Rivals100 prospect said he is 100 percent committed to Auburn, and is determined to bring top prospects with him.
