We throw well and beat them possibly. But I doubt it . I don't think the game will sway whatever he decides

He doesn't seem like a kid that's is going to care about the outcome. From everything I've read, he is one of the few kids that is actually going to a school because of the school, not because of how many they put in the league, or the coach or how good they are. I have no problem with it, especially considering he never misrepresented himself.

I thought that once a recruit signed his financial paperwork with the school they were obligated?

I didn't like Studrawa as OC or OL coach but I'm not sure that what a LA kid says when he is leaving the state could exactly be taken to the bank as damning evidence. Don't you think that for him to say that sort of removes any of HIS responsibility for not playing for the state school? I have no problem with his decision...it is his life...I do have a problem with a guy giving what seems to be a self-serving statement when the coach isn't even around to defend himself.

He's not the first to say Stud didn't do his due diligence. That's why he's gone.

No--this is not like Herman Johnson back when LSU played Oklahoma for the BCS title.

And yes, Stud is clearly to blame--more proof that it is better for LSU that he is gone.

Yeah, I believe he has truly shut down his recruitment.

Was not thinking correctly earlier and thinking more in terms of nothing is official until signing day.. but he seems to really have his mind made up.

Probably not.

BUT...

LSU couldn't ask for a better opportunity to make its case than head-to-head with Notre Dame. If LSU comes out and completely dominates from whistle to whistle, who knows?

Financial aid paperwork is much different than a letter of intent. It doesn't commit him to the school. Rather, it commits the school to him. They guarantee him a scholarship for next year. The other thing it does is allow pretty much unlimited contact by Neutre Dame.

bullshite! Mile's job is to make sure things are handles correctly. Please don t tell me you believe Mike's didn't know we had a 5 star OT at one of the most visible and winning high school programs in the state.

No. We move on (and go after Martez Ivey). Two tears in a bucket, f*ck it!

Definitely go after Martez Ivey...but that's no reason to give up on Tillery. Until his name is on a LOI, I'd be recruiting him.
