the WR's took a huge step back and he can't recruit... ball being at LSU is a mystery to me. he has a LOT to prove this year as a coach.

Tee Martin is the GOAT of the recruiting world, but yes had BDP landed Fowler he would have been #2

Per Jimmy D.

quote:

Devonta Smith, ATH, Amite, 6-2, 170

Smith, a one-time Georgia commitment, is one of the Tigers biggest targets in 2017. Wide receiver coach Tony Ball is building a solid rapport with Smith, while defensive line coach and area recruiter Ed Orgeron has made Smith a focal point in this year's class.

Example of yet another BRILLIANT message board so-called LSU fan.

BTW, to point out BDP handled Fowler's recruitment is "unfair" and a "stretch."

Fowler has stated multiple times he had tremendous respect for LSU and their recruiters and his last-minute switch was driven by family emotions.

He has to prove his salt at coaching because he was never viewed as a good recruiter. I hope he is a part of LB recruiting in Georgia though. They have four of the top 12 OLBs and 3 of the top 20 ILBs in 2017.

Riley, Sheppard, Minter. GA has been good to us for LBs under Les.

I actually hesitated about that, but it is what many people say on here right now so I figured it was safe.

All good bro. Hilarious IMO. I was tickled reading through it.

Some people take offense to everything and try to throw out race cards.

I knew what you meant! It was just funny reading it in passing.

When did he say this? So he had so much respect for them that he left them blowing in the wind? Yeah very respectful. Not saying he is a pos but he wouldn't know respect if it fell out of the sky and slapped him in the face. He's a kid. U want to stay home and rep ur state, I get it. Pick up the phone and tell the people that have spent time recruiting u. U were about to spend 3-4 years of ur life with them. A text, a voice mail, smoke signals, etc

This so-called LSU fan's family has had the same 6 season tickets for 57 years and my post is not negative - (was lackadaisical since auto-correct went wild with Accounts vs. Recruits and I did a poor job of spotting this) From my view, we had FEWER prospects visiting than in the past, and that seems to fall on Ball for not keeping the pipeline active for 2016.

Apparently Les thought Ball was also dead weight.
