A buddy of mine was his former coach, and they still constantly talk....my friend sent me a transcript of their convos during the last LSU camp that Isaiah attended. Isaiah says he was told by the staff if he ran in the 4.5s he would get the offer. He ran a 4.52 and then they offered Coxie. Needless to say Graham was very hurt and has moved on. The kid wanted to be a Tiger. Obviously there is something about his game the staff is not enamored with. I was kinda shocked they went with Coxie instead, but they know what they're doing. I just feel for the kid, he's a class act

Damn, if true, good luck to the kid. Always hate hearing stories of kids not being able to get to their dream team.

Yep I agree, that's how recruiting goes I guess. He's moved on pretty well though, he'll do just fine I'm sure. My buddy told me over a year ago that Arky was recruiting him the hardest.

We played bastrop the last 3 years they don't run many routes a lot of tunnel screens, bubble screens and a few slants and posts. I like their offense but I guess LSU didn't like it.

They liked it well enough to recruit 5 star Reuben Randle, unless the offense is completely different now. Also that wasn't a knock against them not offering the kid, just about you thinking it may have something to do with his route running.

With that aside, I really hope he does go to a TCU or Texas Tech. I like to see Louisiana kids do good, unless they are playing against us. And by your description of the routes he runs, he should have no problems in those offenses.

It is sad to see quality players from Louisiana not be able to play for LSU simply because of numbers... It's kind of the negative side of the program being so good and being able to recruit regionally and nationally in addition to statewide...

Dang...TCU isn't a bad fall back plan if he goes that route.
But if he goes to Arky...

This was a conversation the staff had on multiple occasions. Tony Ball loves Isaiah the person, as well as the football player. He worked his tail off for the offer, but it never came. He hasn't let it affect him, though. Kid is a grinder and class act. I wish him the best.

I think he will do very well at TCU, going up against some of those Big 12 defenses.
