I don't care about the difference of a 10th of a second on someone's stopwatch. He's fast enough to play sideline to sideline in the modern game. He's fast enough to be an effective pass rusher. He's fast enough to blow up holes in the run game. He's an incredible all around athlete, and that doesn't depend on the difference between him being a 4.4 or 4.5 guy.

He is about .1 of a second late on his watch. Time starts on first forward movement.

I noticed the same thing

from my angle looks like he hits his watch at the same time that the timer does. seems pretty legit to me. but hey who am i?

Just needs to end up in purple and gold

4.56, 225-230-lb LBer who has great instincts and brings the wood. Don't see the problem.

4.56 is elite for his size and age

4.56 is plenty fast enough. I mean I'd he tickled to death for him to run a 4.45 but 4.56 for 230 pound inside linebacker is fine.

His shuttle time was the most impressive. He has elite change of direction for a kid his size

true, his pops posted that on twitter too! that was a sweet time for a big guy 6'2 1/2 235lbs. I think it was 4.09 secs. let me see if i can find it.
4.09 5-10-5 shuttle
Bruh this kid has some wheels! we need this guy!

Bradie James ran a 4.7 and he is one of the best ever at LSU.

Listen to the crowd. shite is hilarious

Either way, that is seriously impressive. I watched it five or six times and I think the father's time is more accurate.

Best perspective yet... he is a beast of a LB. Any athlete that can move that mass that fast is a bad arse and will do damage upon arrival...
BTW: the 40s were lazer timed at the opening. The guys with the watches were just curios, not official...

Yeah he isn't the 6'1 ish, 210-215 lbs. 8th or 9th grader anymore. If I were him I wouldn't have tried to put on more than 220 lbs. Until I was enrolled early at LSU...
Notice I dropped the when he is enrolled at LSU, not what if,
Main point is lifting weights when you are in highschool can stunt your growth. BTW I hate the Dreads hanging down or Long hair of any type for any football player. For me it would get in the way and be too hot, IMHO...
