Charlie Strongs main recruiting ground was/is Florida.He and Valentine have known each other for awhile. Who knows? But the staff has been getting to know Valentine and his family for months now. However, Valentine supposedly likes Texas new D line coach a lot as well. So, again, who knows.

If he can't get into LSU b/c of grades he damn sure wont be going to UT.

Not true. The SEC has higher academic requirements than the Big 12. That is why Phillip Loadholt had to go to OU instead of LSU.

He was ours, till academics sent him to OU.
