I would happily take him if it would help us get Freak Johnson to sign.

Cajun you don't find his comments about a attending a school noted for defense and listing the likes of Texas Tech and others ironic?

Which school listed has the best D? TT D over the past few years has played better than most of the other schools listed. He can only go to a school that offers him. Saying he DESIRE to go the a school that is known for their D and having the offers from those schools that rank highly are two different things.

You two are the clueless ones in this.

One noteworthy exception would be the fact that Nebraska offered him. As a former coach at LSU, I hold Bo Pelini to a higher defensive standard than Mike Leach but that's just me.

Did you see Bo's D last year and his last year here? Not very impressive to say the least, he's good but not great. Leach is not the DC

And did you also see the amount of talent that Bo had during his last year at LSU, compared to his first year in Lincoln?

What did you expect? A top 10 defense in one year?

So it's the talent level and not the coaching? NU has more talent on D than TT.

No I didn't..The goober(gradman/whatever) that posted that took it out of context and tried to put it together to make the kid look like a dumbass...

The Johnson kid mentioned in the middle of the piece that he wants to check out some of the schools that offered him a "ship" and-he also said that could change...At the end of the Rival's piece the kid says

"I'm just starting to look at all of these schools," Johnson said. "I for sure want to look at graduation rate at all of these places and the chances for early playing time. I also want to find a nice defensive school - a place that's know for their 'D'."

Johnson has also visited LSU...That's why I asked the freakin question, but now Johnson is a dumbass, forget about it...

It don't much matter anyways..

We will go to California or Florida and pick up some 4-star CB who's 5-8 165lbs...

Urell Johnson will go on to "wherever" and then be in the Freakin NFL...

Never said he was a dumbass you little bitch. Just pointed out that he has several offers on the table but only wants to visit teams that have historically horrible defenses, while also stating that he wants to go to a school "known for its D". Nice one on calling me a "goober" though, sick burn there.

Did you watch Nebraska's defense this year? You are only proving your stupidity by claiming Nebraska had a respectable defense.

I watched his video so you want to know the truth? He's not LSU caliber. I wish him well wherever he ends up but that video didn't dazzle. And when is the last time we signed a player, much less a corner, from California?

Maybe reading comprehension is too much for you. I stated, as readily seen above, that I hold Bo Pelini and his track record of success while the defensive coordinator at Nebraska, OU, and LSU to a higher standard than a guy at Texas Tech that couldn't stop a two year old from running for two touchdowns against them.

Hmm, I dunno. Going from the 111th ranked defense in 2008, to the 55th ranked defense in 2009 should be pretty respectable. Not to mention, ranked #2 in the Big 12 in defense in 2008, only behind Texas.

Oh, and BTW. Texas Techs defense was ranked 79th.
