Upchurch is a much better prospect than most fans think...

I just looked at several of his game film and this kid is legit. He might not be your typical size WR, but he he has great hands and a lot of quickness for a man his size. I've heard several people say he could be an Anquin Bolden. I will agree that he has that body type but I think he is quicker.

I think most critics on here already think hes a good player. With his frame he looks like he can play multiple positions. Should be fun to see him on field for us.

The guy is super versatile. I could see him at WR, TE, or even RB. Hell, he could probably be a very good safety.
I haven't seen any film of him blocking at WR, but I assume he's probably a good one. He looks physical.

He looks good as RB too. And I can agree about the Safety part too. Great get for this class. He can be an emergency backup for multiple positions.

Being compared to Anquan Boldin is a double edged sword.
He is an All Pro, so the comparison is a compliment.
But if you are comparing on the basis of size, speed , measureables, it's not. Boldin is not that big and his 40 time is 4.72.
How he does it, no one knows...

I watched his highlights the other day in Hudl. A lot of things to like about. 2 things that really standout for me, he always catches the ball with his hands and he great at working the seams. Great football IQ too.
