Truthfully on Randle!!

I've watched Randle play in person 3 times and he is GREAT! But after watching highlights for the last month on Debose I'm not shi%$ing! If I had to choose just one of then I would take Debose--it is utterly ridiculous he is not a 5 star--and no I'm not just getting myself prepared for Randle going elsewhere--I still think he comes but I think Debose is just a little more special!!

Losing out on RR would be huge. I agree that Debose is special and I think he will be a great college player with all of the different things that he can bring to a team. But RR is a different type of a player than Debose. RR will be an immediate impact at what ever college he chooses. Hes ready to play WR at the college level, just like Juilo was last year. FWIW, I'd take Randle over Debose in a heartbeat.

I hope we get them both they have different styles and will be a unstoppable Duo.

I think they are both great players and as long as we get one of them I will be happy. Lord help us all if we dont get either. I fear there will be a little bit of a meltdown.

Saw Randle play Evangel, he made some great plays with his feet, but most of those plays won't happen in the SEC. Too much speed. He is a great player, no doubt. I've watched some film on Debose and he looks good too, but seeing recruits in actual games will tell more than watching highlights. They don't put bonehead plays on film. FWIW- I heard from my bastrop connection that LSU is trailing a little at this point. I know dmitch is tight lipped, but my buddy from Bastrop gets me good scoop. Let's hope we make up some ground and get them both.

Funny, your buddy from Bastrop knows that we are slightly trailing, but Rueben himself, nor his family has said this or has this information.

i live in bastrop and have both parents working at the high school and know rueben personally. nobody knows anything around here. everything you hear is rumors until rueben himself or a member of his family comes out and says otherwise.

Is Bastrop generally a big LSU town?? I know it's pretty far away from BR, but it is in LA after all.
I'm just curious as to why a kid who loves FB as much as RR growing up in LA isn't an LSU fan...especially given the tear we've been on during the last several years.

There are aLOT of LSU fans in Bastrop. Then again there are a good few Arkansas fans here too being 20 minutes away from the Arky state line.

I agree that Debose's film looks better than Randle's and Debose is probably the better high school player. However, Randle has the greater upside and will be the better pro prospect.
If I had to choose one, Id pick whoever wanted to play for LSU and at this point, it seems like that is Debose. I hope they both want to play for LSU though and in that case I would gladly take both.
