quote:

With a 26-yard reception in the third quarter against South Lafourche Friday, Barbe wide receiver Trey Quinn broke Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham's national record for career receiving yards.

Quinn needed 176 yards to break the record of 6,356 yards heading into the game and nearly reached that tally in the first half. The LSU commitment had seven catches for 171 yards with three touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown in the second quarter.

#1 Trey Quinn - 6377 yards

His team will advance in the playoffs, so he has a chance to pad some stats.

I saw it on NOLA.COM before it was posted here. THAT's how bad it's been tonight.

Boo.

Oh, and Quinn...

Hopefully Trey can gain some more respect by these national "expert" analysts....dude is a monster out there and has the stats to prove it.

Unfortunately, I think the sites are holding his 5* back bc he didn't compete at the national camps...but f*ck the stars...he will come to LSU and show 'em all

Congrats Mr. Quinn and TigerAlum93

As underrated as they come. Will be a hell of a Tiger. Very happy to have his commitment. It's vital to have a kid with his skill set coming in with a new QB at the helm.

A most wonderful accomplishment for this young man. I hope he brings commitment, integrity, and national accomplishments to the Flagship. Geaux Tigers!
