ddidn't watch entire vid but his '09 highlights as a SO looked as good as it gets for a SO db.. good instincts.. scratching my head at some of the qb play in the first half of the reel..

that team we were playing is one of the worst teams in the state if i remember right. the first few picks are definitely that team.

I had a friend that went to it that asked me if I knew who they were. He said that they were monsters.

Boy looks good. If he had an inch or two in height, he would could be a really good corner. Maybe a good slot player on offense, but he looks more fluid on defense. Any way very good high schooler.

LSU's camp is going to be very interesting at a couple of positions, namely RB and CB. Will Batiste and Stewart be battling for the in-state scholly as we might go OOS for the others (Chris Humes, Kelton Brackett, Elijah White, Tracy Howard, etc.) or do we possibly go 3 CBs in this class?

I hope we only go 2 CBs this year and pick up some tall WRs and finish up both O and D lines. Other than that

I saw Patterson play this year and the team was pretty unimpessive for all the supposed D1 athletes it will be churning out this year. Either the S&C program there is shite or the coaching is awful. Probably both.

Pedro you think Minton gets the most out of the talent in Patterson? You like him as their coach?

Before anyone can even answer this question, does anyone remember in the 5 years leading up to Minton's arrival how irrelevant Patterson was? You probably don't. The guy gets the absolute most out of the kids there.

Go ahead and let him leave and see where the program heads...

Time for me to again defend Patterson's program.

As a former player, Minton is one of the best coaches I have ever known. He cares about his players on and off the field. The workouts they do now are 10x harder than when I was there, and it was a no joke college level program then.

These kids are not recruited. Homegrown talent, many of whom go onto play elsewhere. Minton absolutely gets the best out of all of us.

Coach Minton is without a doubt the best guy for us. He cares about each and everyone of his players while also demanding the best out of us all. Like ice said we were completely irrelevant as a football program leading up to him coming here. If he left there's only one guy I can think of that could come close to taking his place and I'm not even sure he could. Coach Minton means a heck of alot to this program, school, and town for that matter.

Yea that wasn't our best game... It definately wasn't because of coaching or s&c. It was just an off night for us. Still says alot about you if you had an off night and still won by 21 points.
