don't even want him for LSU as much as i don't want him at another school we play

This is sort of Saban's modus operandi, correct?

He looks better than two players who received an LSU offer and have contributed on college footballs biggest stage..?

Nobody here thinks we are in it for Akers? Especially after last game?

He's comparing a high school back who runs against 3 & 4A defenses to LSU backs who play against SEC defenses. This is absolutely absurd. I can't even begin to tell you how dumb his statement is.

As has been stated on here time and time again.

LSU is looking for that big back that can pound it not the speedy shifty back that they have currently committed in Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

I don't know why people think Helaire and Etienne are similar rb's. Etienne is already bigger and he'll get even bigger and stronger in college.

They're not. People listen to the same few voices over and over again, and soon they believe the myth.

Besides if Herman were named coach, would his scheme even utilize a big "pound the rock" back?

I would like to see Etienne at LSU as much as anyone, but what does this mean? That the 5a players don't play against other talented 5a teams? Common.

I'm from Jennings as well, take off the Maroon and White glasses for a minute. There's something the coaching staff doesn't like about him or that they like about another player more to not offer him.

Unless coaches change, LSU will run a totally different offense than what he runs right now (split back veer). Maybe he isn't proven as a downhill runner than they feel they are missing in this class? Maybe they feel like he doesn't play against stronger defenses? We don't know.

He is a great player and will be at the next level, but maybe not for LSU.

See Carlos Hyde, Ezekiel elliot, ....

Answer is yes. His offense is a power run offense.
