S/S have repeated this sentiment on why Etienne doesnt have an offer right now. Staff sees him as being too much like CEH.
CEH is small but compact, and can do anything. Run inside or out, catch the ball.. Etienne is more of a slasher. They have totally different body types. Think Terrence Magee with CEH and Richard Murphy w/ Etienne
They aren't prototypical in size but I dont think they are alike either.

Not a whole lot of experience to be gained this year behind Fournette, Guice, and Williams either.
You do recognize how ignorant your response sounds if you're trying to make a case to take Etienne right?
How many carries did Ridley have before starting in 2010? How many carries did Ware, Blue, and Ford have prior to that year either? You do realize all 3 were freshmen right? We went 11-2 with losses by 8 to Arkansas and 7 to the eventual undefeated national champion. How about in 2011 when our #1 and #2, and #3 backs, statistically, were those same guys (all sophomores) and our 4th back was a true freshman who had 8 rushing TDs. We did alright that year right? How about the next year when the leading back emerged that beat out all those backs as a redshirt freshman with zero carries prior to that season? We finished 10-2 and the lack of using him more in the bowl game was one of the 3 reasons we lost. Magee in 2013 became a backup who had over 600 yards and averaged 7.3 ypc with 8 TDs. He was a 3 star who didn't have any carries in any previous year and even moved to WR the year prior.
We've done more than fine when our #1 and #2 backs had little to no experience at all, and you're listing the 3rd, 4th, and 5th backs, as a problem when our #1 and #2 will be a junior and senior with over 100 carries each prior to 2017?
Seriously guy???
Seriously?
