I just wanted to share this, because I thought it was awesome & wonderful recruiting. It also shows just how family oriented Les is. His team is part of his family, and he brings that to recruiting as well.
Hopefully, this will only help get Torrondney in P&G! His recruitment has been quiet recently.

Well this is one area of dire need, along with quarterback. If we recruit well along the defensive front and get a high profile quarterback, this class will be a success.

Coaches do this kind of thing all the time, and have for years. It's a good gimmick, but it's not novel and has nothing to do with Les being a family man.

Well yeah.
But the fact he takes note of Miles doing it might indicate nobody else has to this point.

And here comes that one negative post I was sure would show up.
Les is known to be a family man. I'm sure he is at least sincere when he does it, unlike some other coaches I know of.

Not negative at all. Good move. But it's not really noteworthy. Every coach on staff probably sends out a dozen or more cards and letters every day. And there's no evidence Les is the one that did it.

we need evidence. boy, some people will never accept les. when we win the NC this year they will say 1) it was chavis and the defense 2) we could have won more if les didn't play jj.
