nature of the beast. you can tell standouts from early on. especially if they have good size at that age.

I don't know how good all these kids will turn out to be, they likely aren't getting much PT this year, but 4 are sophs and one is a frosh. All 6'2" or taller, 295 or heavier. They will keep Fournette getting a lot of yards for years to come at St Augs.

Justine Jones - OL - Soph

Brandon Leblanc - OL - Soph

Damien Daniels - OL - Soph

Julien Freeman - OL - Soph

Peyton Winbush - OL - Frosh

destrahan has this freshman QB who the announcers said was 6'3'' 215

not sure if he's a true QB, but he looked every bit of that size...he's #13, not sure of his name or even how good he is to be honest

I know a defensive lineman in the 5th grade that weighs too much to play RB. Anyway, he stripped the RB of the ball and returned the ball for a TD.

You should go through this list and make sure the guys have actually displayed outstanding plays during the season before we offer them schollies. If not, this list is going to be silly.

Cade Stone DB
Dylan Burdeaux LB
Stone Johns LB
Michael Mims DB for now, QB later

Those are the 4 sophomores at WM that get talked about the most.

As far as freshman, WM's freshmen team went undefeated. The junior highs are split. West Ridge went undefeated in 7th grade. Good Hope went undefeated in 8th grade. The only losses for them were against each other in a split the last week of the year.

Damian Williams QB from Rummel could become a really good player. He was being talked about on a recruiting website about being national freshman of the year last year. His numbers aren't staggering because he splits time with a senior QB. But is a very good player on a team that has never been known for their offense.

Next year he should get his chance to shine a little bit more.

Saw him in the Dome against WM. He looked like a good athlete, but that's a tough spot for a freshman to shine.

sophomore rickey jefferson from destrehan.
6'0 180 4.5

plays receiver, db, and return specialist. very good athlete. i can see him projected as a corner or slot receiver. probably the best athlete on the entire team right now.

Don't forget about Marklyn England. DT, 5'11" 290 SO. And also, Greg Echolls is a freshman FB that has been dominating the freshman games and is getting in Varsity games.
